Changing names: yes or no?
Yes, that’s right: I’m thinking of changing the name of my blog. This is not something I’ve just come up with – to be honest, I was already thinking about it in January, when I completely changed the look of my blog. As you can read here, the name originates from the idea my partner Ron and I had, to post many vegan dishes we made together. But Kitchenoflion has moved in a slightly different direction, partly because it turned out that Ron didn’t have enough time to work on this blog. So it landed on my shoulders, which I don’t mind at all! I love working for Kitchenoflion. Vegan updates, cleaning, washable sanitary pads, spirituality… I cover so many topics now, this blog breathes me.
Since “Lion” has become more or less a nickname, I intend to keep it in the title. My zodiac sign is Leo, and I think the name does fit well with this blog. But since this blog is much more than just “the kitchen of”, I think something like “The Green Lion”, “The Plantbased Lion” or maybe even “The Vegan Lion” would fit better. First I have to find out if these names are not already taken, but perhaps the name change will be implemented soon… Maybe August is a good time for it, as Kitchenoflion will turn one year then!
